We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a GP/ Family Physician to work in a state-of-the-art medical clinic located in the scenic Scarborough Bluffs area of Toronto, Ontario.
This purpose-built facility has been a staple in the community for 25 years, serving a diverse patient demographic that includes young families and seniors. The clinic is equipped with 12 modern treatment rooms and utilizes a full EMR system, ensuring you have the tools to provide comprehensive care. You will be joining a supportive team of seven family doctors in a fully supported FHO model, with opportunities to build a patient roster and serve walk-in and after-hours clients. This position offers flexible hours with a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to a diverse patient base.
- Accept and register new patients to build and maintain a reliable patient roster.
- Engage in a mix of family practice, and walk-in care.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
- Utilize EMR for efficient patient management and record-keeping.
- Participate in regular training and stay updated on the Canadian medical billing system.
Successful Candidate Profile:
- Must hold a valid medical degree and relevant qualifications: MRCGP/ MICGP, FRACGP, FACRRM, CCFP, or DABFM
- Experience as a Family Physician or GP is essential.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates an empathetic approach and strong bedside manner.
- Willing to accept and integrate into the community, building lasting patient relationships.
- Eligibility for LMIA Visa sponsorship for work permit.
