The Clinic/Position:
We have an excellent opportunity for a GP to join our client in their clinic based in Ottawa, the
Capital of Canada. The clinic has been established for 20+ years and is located in the West End of
Ottawa and is approximately a 10 to 15 minute drive from Downtown Ottawa.
The clinic is situated adjacent to Algonquin College, one of Canada's largest colleges servicing 20,000 full time
students and surrounded by several pleasant residential communities.
This modern clinic is equipped with 8 treatment rooms and caters to a variety of patient
demographics including young adults, families and seniors. It has full EMR system and offers
specialties including Hematology, Family Medicine and a walk-in clinic.
There are two pharmacies in the same development.
There are Xray and Laboratory services within walking distance of the clinic.
The clinic is looking for a full time Family Physician to join their team comprising of 3 family
physicians and 2 hematologists. Hours of work would be 5 days per week (between 35-40
hours). The Clinic Hours are: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9:00am - 12pm. (1 to 2
weekend availability per month). Evenings available on request.
The ideal doctor will have an excellent bedside manner to join their team in a friendly
community setting. They are looking for a doctor who is willing to accept and register patients
to build up their own roster of patients along with a mix of walk-in patients.
The Package:
• Potential earnings are $500,000 CAD/ £275,000 Per annum. • Fully supported Team
• Hands-on training on the Canadian medical billing system with an experienced GP owner
• Visa (LMIA) sponsorship for a work permit.
The Location:
The Clinic is located adjacent to a very desirable residential area
known as Centrepointe.
It is situated in a highly visible location in a shopping plaza with heavy foot traffic.
This area is easily accessible to walking, hiking, biking trails and the lakes and rivers of the region, and is just a 30 minute drive to
first class skiing in the Gatineau region. Ottawa offers many winter and summer sporting
activities and is home to the world's largest naturally frozen ice rink, the Rideau Canal.
