Our client, College Square Medical Centre, has been delivering comprehensive healthcare services for over 20 years in a welcoming and modern environment. Located in the vibrant West End of Ottawa, close to downtown and adjacent to Algonquin College, the clinic caters to a diverse patient base, including young adults, families, and seniors.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the clinic features eight treatment rooms, full EMR system, and offers specialties such as Hematology, Obstetrics, and walk-in care, along with nearby X-ray and Laboratory services. The practice emphasizes a collaborative team environment, comprising three family physicians and two hematologists, providing an excellent platform for professional growth and patient care excellence.
- Provide comprehensive family medical care to a diverse patient roster, building patient relationships through excellent bedside manner.
- Manage a full patient schedule within the clinic’s operating hours (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-12pm, with 1-2 weekends per month).
- Accept and register new patients, contributing to the growth of the clinic’s patient community.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in professional development, health initiatives, and community engagement activities.
- Utilize EMR and diagnostic services efficiently to facilitate effective patient management.
- Hold a valid Medical Degree with a recognized qualification in Family Medicine.
- Proven experience as a family physician, ideally within a community or family practice setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to accept new patients and build a dedicated patient roster.
- Eligible for licensing and practice in Ontario (or willing to undertake local registration processes).
This role offers an attractive compensation package, with potential earnings between $450,000 - $500,000 CAD per annum. The position is fully supported with LMIA sponsorship for a work permit, ensuring a smooth transition to practice in Canada.
